So true - the Committee one cracked me up. I have to say that you're doing well if you only hit the booze in the penultimate week of the semester ... It's even worse when you teach quarters and not semesters.
Some of the profs at U of O teach community classes in stuff that interests them. I have taken a couple, and have gotten the sense that the profs love that people (usually age 50+) are actually INTERESTED in this stuff, as opposed to the typical undergrad that they usually have to deal with.
