More M M M Max.

I used to love Max Headroom. It's probably difficult for you young 'uns, with your realistic video games and 3D movies, to appreciate just how revolutionary MH was in the 1980s. We'd never seen anything like it.

Yeah, I used to love it too. It's hard to imagine how 'out there' it was back then, when viewed from a perspective of today's media, I think.

I liked Max Headroom a lot; took my online name from it, even.

It was totally out there.

The discussion about fake computer graphics was interesting. I have long had a thing about the images of computers in TV shows and movies, where screens behave like no screens in real life. You know, entire monitors filled with the blinking message "SYSTEM COMPROMISED," spelling words out slowly like an ancient terminal emulator, showing tidy dossiers on fugitives with vital stats, profile photos, etc apparently without any kind of operating system needed. It's interesting to realize, duh, obviously they were never even real computer screens at all.
