Ha. Reminds me of my american ex. When we were together she'd sometimes jokingly put on a gravelly voice and thick New York accent. And it'd freak me out.

Makes me think of my grandmother. She always was meticulously dressed and wore giant earrings and big tortoise shell glasses. Great Manhattan accent too.

I like it that they are all so put together. As Genevieve Antoine Dariaux wrote, the older a woman gets, the more fastidious she needs to be about her grooming. I just wish I could see more of their outfits.
