New Cellphone I just bought a new cell phone today and I am looking for any new apps that I can download. The last cell phone that I used was one of those big, cancer inducing brick phones from the 80s, so I am a complete beginner . I got the Samsung Note II and I all set to start playing with it. Would love to have some suggestions

I use my GPS navigation, music apps like Rhapsody, audio book apps like Audible, OneBusAway (for Metro in Seattle), texting, Twitter, notepad and calendar apps, and my email apps more than any others. Also love having my Starbucks card on my phone.

I am currently addicted to touchy words which is an infuriating word game.
As for helpful apps, I like expensive, notepad, led flashlight , compass, weather channel widget, shazaam, offline maps

I have a Note II also and it is the coolest gadget I've ever owned. The apps you need depend on how you use it- mine is basically a camera and an MP3 player. I use WinAmp for music, and Snapseed and PixlrOmatic to process pics. FalconPro is an excellent Twitter app, and Chrome is great for web use.

I like having a few time killer games- Angry Birds, Candy Crush, SuDoku, Solitaire.

DropBox is a must (for me, at least). Once installed and configured (easy peasy), on phone and desktop, new photos will auto-upload to DB and instantly sync with your desktop folder. I love it. By the time I get home from an excursion, all my new pics are on the desktop waiting for me.

You will get 3 gigs free with DB. I also use mine for music and other file up/downloads.
