full disclosure: I am doing a slightly new job involving more technical writing, which allows me to spend swathes of time in headphones (because concentration). So I blew part of my bonus on a new set of cans (these) and tried 'em out on that track and the results just frankly blew my puny little mind.

I just bought a pair of these yesterday. Mostly for studio stuff but they are pretty nice cans for just listening to stuff.

I looked at those danf, those are definitely solid. I actually just spent hours and hours on various forums and electronics sites reviewing cans over the past week or so. The metal construction on the V-Modas made me feel like they wouldn't fall apart within months like the endless cheap shit earbuds and el cheapo plastic cans I've had in the past.

I don't think those Sonys have changed since the late 90's; I still have a pair I was issued, and another pair I replaced the 1/4 jack on. Nice controls on the Voda's although. Either way, music to move to.

Not usually a big fan of electronica, but that sounds like something that would be awesome played very very loud.

Those headphones have me drooling, except that I would most likely send myself deaf before long, because I like to listen to music loud and loud music played through headphones doesn't do ears a lot of good.
