Centuries-old wooden churches in Russia and vicinity: four pages of amazing photos.
Oooh. There's a beautiful wooden Ukrainian church on the way to my folks house that always looks so inviting from the road. My aunts are Ukrainian Orthodox and at one of their funeral masses, the entire mass was sung and done standing, which was quite different from my grandmother's Roman Catholic mass.

These are lovely - not only in the architecture but also the scenery. I have an affinity for abandoned buildings; these were a treat.
