How are you all doing on your February goals? →[More:]
1. Have a song picked out and at least half of the choreography written for the Extravadance duet piece.
I have the song picked out, edited down to 2m43s (from 5+ minutes), and I've done a fair amount of blocking it out and have several sections ready to go. I need to really work on the veil entrance since that is something I am not very confident with.
2. Be finished sewing the gold costume bra.
I have completed all the sewing that I can actually do before I meet with the troupe leader to hopefully finish up the last bits of it. (She has an iron, which I need to put the lining on with.) We were scheduled to meet in February, but she came down with that nasty flu/cold thing that has been going around.
3. Complete one other sewing project (probably a 3/4 circular veil for AKD).
I've got the fabric pieces all cut out and will probably do some hand sewing on it tonight. I haven't decided if I want to run it through the machine or not, especially since it is glitter-dot-ish fabric.
4. Meet in person with my West pillar.
I did meet with my West pillar and we went to the local Korean spa and spent several hours there while I answered her many questions. She is an excellent teacher. I'm still not out of the West yet, because I need to come up with and complete a project. She gave me the assignment of water scrying, which is also something I seriously struggle with, and I've been attempting to do that in the hopes that it will help me contact my ancestors and come up with a project. I think I have an idea for something, but I'm not sure if she'll approve it or not.
So how have y'all done this month? :)
March's goals post will go up tomorrow.
