Happy 88th birthday to Edward Gorey.

On my ill-fated honeymoon, which I spent mostly nauseous, the only thing I was mildly excited about was going to the Edward Gorey House on Cape Cod. So we stopped by, only to find it closed. On a TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

My honeymoon had a more pleasant Edward Gorey connection. Mrs Agogo and I were quite excited to stumble upon an Edward Gorey exhibit at the Cartoon Museum while we spent the week in San Francisco. Just last week I broke our a few EG books to study some of his incredible cross hatching.

Today, I got to explain to a co-worker who Edward Gorey is. As an example, I read Gashlycrumb Tinies outloud to most of my office, gleefully.
