Lunch hour NYC is an exhibition that's running for about another week at the NYPL. It's pretty fascinating (the actual exhibition, anyway, I've only skimmed the online version).

Oooh, this looks great. If I could go back in time one of the places I'd go is to an Automat in the late 1940s.

Wished I could have seen that. I remember eating at the Automat when I was a very little kid.
