Grand Central Station is 100 years old. One of the most beautiful and magnificent railway stations in the world, in my opinion. These photographs chart its history, through good times and bad.
It's a wonderful building. Not only the charm of the old. But also just that space works there.
I found NYC very charmless. But that building is amazing.

I often go to Grand Central just to chill. Which seems odd because it's always so bustling. But you find a place to sit, and you can ignore the people and enjoy it.

I love the big leather (or faux leather) chairs there. . .

The constellation ceiling is on backwards! I love that.

Some of my favorite memories of Grand Central are due to passing through it on my way to awesome places and experiences. I am so glad for the renovation. Happy Birthday, hub of happiness!

Happier than Dikembe Mutombo blocking a shot || Steve Reich: rhythm and minimalism.
