Let's talk about email. Please check your MeCha profile right now and see if the email address is one you still use, or one where you'll see emails sent to it. Recent experience tells me a lot of folks have outdated emails listed. Even if you have your profile set to not show the email address publicly, we need a current addy in case we have to contact you.

I'm getting a error when I try to update mine.

I can't seem to recall the password to the linked email account, but it supposedly forwards to my other gmail account which I use regularly.

MeMail works even finer.

Kind of a last resort as it's much handier for the admins/mods to use the interface we have here. Add that to the fact that not everybody belongs to MeFi and not everybody who does belong to both has the same name here and there, it can become an exercise in frustration to try to track someone down. I know many people have the same ID on both, but there is no easy way to remember who does and doesn't or what their MeFi handle is while working on the backend here. So it is really a good thing for everyone to have a current address here.

Mine's up-to-date (and visible to all, in case anyone wants to drop me a line). I haven't been around much lately, and as the holidays ramp up, I'll probably be even more scarce.
