December Musical Giftstravaganza, Day 2: Better late than never, yo. →[More:]I can't believe I'd never heard Tim Minchin's White Wine in the Sun before, but my friend posted it on Facebook and I fell in love.

I sent it to KathrynT and she said, "Dammit, I'm crying now," and I said, "Was it at [certain spot I'll leave to you to guess]?" and she said, "YES!!!!!"

Just introduced my husband to this song a few days ago. Due to some unexpected losses this year, it was SO timely. Anyone who thinks that there have been no good Christmas songs written since the fifties *really* needs to check this one out.

(BTW, I follow him on Twitter and he's mentioned recording a studio version of this song this year. I haven't heard that one yet, so I don't know how different it is, if at all.)
