Wow. . . these are very beautiful if devastating. My mother always used to talk about walking around NYC in the 60s in a huge blizzard. The power had gone out, it was dark and deserted and just white snow falling everywhere. She told me about that numerous times; it seemed to be a real touchstone memory for her and I can understand why. Certainly something you will never forget.
