Hazelnut Oil? Was gifted a half liter of hazelnut oil and looking for ways to use it. Ice cream topping? Cookies? Salad dressing?
Fudge or brownies.

A mocha sauce would be a twisted treat.

Oh, YUM. Yes, use it for luscious rich salad dressing, drizzle over risotto or pasta, over meats (oooh, and especially fish, I would think), swirl into soups as a garnish, or anywhere you might use a particularly good olive oil for a finishing touch.

It would also be great to replace some of the butter in nutty baked goods, I would think --- though I've never tried that, and I'd try it first in short-cooking things like cookies, to see how much flavor cooks off in the oven. Alton Brown has an ice cream recipe to highlight nut oil. That sounds goooood.

It's like sesame oil but you can bake with it! Gonna go look up smoke points.

Oh man drizzled over a chestnut salad.....

Mmm, you've inspired me to buy a bottle of some fancy nut oil for myself. Hmm, walnut, pistachio, or maybe pumpkin-seed oil. That'll be a nice treat!
