Ghaah, wtf? Windows vs Firefox grudge match or just glitches? Ever since Windows recently installed 14 updates on my laptop, I can't run Firefox. It stalls and glitches and such. I've troubleshot (is that a word?) and disabled plug-ins and uninstalled/reinstalled and restored Mozilla to no avail. Should I move on? For some reason the Chrome of The Omnipresent GoogleGod gives my poor mortal self shivers.
I have never got Firefox to run well on my current laptop. Some hardware configurations just don't work with one browser or another.

I'm finding Firefox clunkier and glitchier with every update it runs. I switch between it and Chrome, but I'm not a massive fan of Google and its data mining.

For me, the recent release version of Firefox 16 has been better than past versions over the last year or two.

I'm finding Google Maps won't load in Firefox 16, although it works fine in Chrome.

I ditched both Chrome and FF for Safari, but I have a mac so... dunno. Chrome made me insane with its poor flash-handling tactics and the way it constantly left processes running that would kill the battery on my laptops. I haven't used Firefox for 2 or 3 years now - it just got too riddled with glitches.
