Thanks all. It was a difficult day and part of the night while they experimented with different cocktails to control my intense barfing. But that's working out fine this morning.

I've already made short jaunts to the restroom using the knee brace and walker. No bedpan woohoo!

Am picking at my first meal. Food tastes intense somehow, but it's nice to receive room service. Smile.

I'm so relieved to have surgery behind me. I was worried about my Mom if something went wrong.

Sorry if the grammar isn't great but I'm pretty doped up...
