Happiness Is... [More:]A new desk chair! Both the mister and I have needed new chairs for a long time. Staples is having a decent sale and he found two that suit us nicely.

What's making you happy?
Doggies! I am now officially trained to play with the dogs at the shelter. Spent about 2 hours this morning getting trained and another hour with DOGGIES!!!

Also it's a beautiful sunny fall day. And I am enjoying watching football.

Cooler weather! I chased summer across the northern and southern hemisphere for over a year, and I am LOVING the chill in the air! I missed cooking cold weather recipes.

And doggies! Doggies always make me happy. Yay occhi!

I also love the miniseries based upon "The Crimson Petal and the White". it may be the very best adaptation of a book, in my very humble opinion. I have been watching it on demand this weekend, and am sad I only have one episode left. The women cast as Agnes and Sugar are dead on. It makes me very happy.

Friends coming! Looking forward a visit Thursday and Friday, with some homemade chili and cider and beer, and then a day trip.

Doggies are always a good answer (except when a certain little one refuses to come inside at night)

Having my house to myself. I love my little brother and he was a good guest but it was a long week.
