This sorta takes me back. . .my sister wanted to make a pair of trunks for me as a surprise. So to fool me, she said that she was making some surf bottoms for HER, but wanted to use me as a model/mannikin. (We bpth surfed a lot and spent a lot of time at the beach.)
I had no idea she was doing this for me until she was done.
The only glitch was that she used a WOMAN'S pattern, and the crotch ripped out pretty much right away, and, as nice as the gesture was, it never really fit right.
