Probably The Doctors. The gym has this show on one of the TVs every day, and they advertise this kind of stuff.

WTF is this stuff?
Pretty ominous when "Clinically Studied" has to be asterisked. Which of those two words might not pass muster or definition? Clinic? Studied?

If you use enough asterisks they become decorative sparklies.

You figure, well, all three of these things can't be lies, can they? Maybe if just one is correct, that's something. Who are these FDA people anyway.

Whereas if it just had one asterisk, you'd know that was a lie. And probably the most important thing.

Maybe on "Dr." Oz. He shills for crap like this, (at least as seen on the commercials for his show). I won't watch it because he's in that group of alleged medical practitioners like "Dr." Phill that actually make me sick.

The ad I like is for 5-Hour Energy:

73% of doctors surveyed said that they would “recommend a low-calorie energy supplement to their healthy patients who use energy supplements.”

That's right up there with the classic, "I'm not a doctor but I play one on TV."
