Question: If you are aware that being passive is being aggressive, is it still passive aggressive or just a different kind of aggressive? And if you have accepted you are not getting anything done, does it cease to be procrastination and transform into full blown fucking off, or does that entail a fuller embrace of doing fuck all?
I find committing to wither work OR fucking off helps a lot cause it's more of a conscious decision then doing a little work, slacking off, feeling guilty, doing a little bit more, etc. I don't feel guilty if I am making a direct choice to actually do nothing and faff around and then halfway in I'll get bored and get on the work anyway.

Yeah, I'm thinking with procrastination that if you are at all thinking about what you should/could be doing, it's still procrastination, unless those little bits of thinking are actually part of what needs doing, in which case we may need a new word for a different way of getting things done.
Unless people usually feel guilty about blowing stuff off. In my mind, it's kind of a done deal, liberation and relief in making a firm decision to "fuck that noise!" drop the mic and walk out.

Technically, according to what I just wrote, I do believe I am still procrastinating, or possibly thinking things through in a somewhat convoluted manner. Could be the pain talking. Fucking pain. Ow fuckity ow ow unremitting ow.

Yeah reading get it done blogs and worrying about procrastination is a form of procrastination, which I do all the time. I live by the code of "THIS is what I am going to do and I WANT to do it" even if what I want is to play Skyrim for three hours.

All of my aggression is aggressive aggression. The perception of the the target is unimportant. I'll get back to you on the procrastination thing. Eventually.
