I didn't expect terms like yank, wog or kraut on metachat.

I'm sorry. It's not really offensive where I come from, but I'll be more careful. Here, kraut and yank are really mild, like limey or frog. We don't use wog in America, but those of us who recognize it see it as orders of magnitude more offensive than any of the above.

In any case, I'll avoid it in the future. Thanks for pointing that out.
