When a perfectly fine craft hobby goes overboard, 70s style. What kills me is the fact that she's even gone after the child's toys.
The room needs a cat or ten to shred that wicker furniture and all that needlepoint.

This brings me back more then it should. The 70's in my household was extremely crafty. We where all hooking rugs, glass-cutting to re-use wine bottles, and loving our drip candles. We didn't have the Diana Shore furniture, though.

We had a sectional wicker couch with Naugahyde cushions in the seventies. Such an odd decade.

We had actual Naugas on our couch.

A lot of naugas died for our 1970s couch and love seat.

I hope the needlework I do doesn't look that ugly in thirty years time.

The living room also had this yellow wicker pattern wallpaper to match the couch.

In the 70s my group reused wine bottles too. We filled them with gasoline and soap flakes. Don't ask. I took a blood oath.
