Space-ships name Prometheus are a pet peeve of mine.

That said: if I were naming a prison transport, I might go for Bellerophon, after the HMS Bellerophon - not the Greek.

I think "Icarus II" has to be the dumbest spaceship name in any movie.

Lately the word Apollo has been amusing me. There's a vet's office nearby called "APOLLO VETERINARY HOSPITAL" and I like to read it as, "A pollo veterinary hospital." It's nice to know a chicken can get help there. A chicken says a name. And so on to any Apollo.

Probably exactly as funny to those around me as when I stop by an "entrance" sign and stare at it in wonder.
