I'm really impressed with Ms. Watanabe for calling him out on his homophobia and keeping at it on his show. That's not how things used to be done and it makes me really happy to read about. Especially where she kept at him and wouldn't let him save face with the "Won't someone think of the children, who will be bullied" canard. I'm glad to see how much support she has.

I like Beat Takeshi's films but I'm not so impressed with his status as TV personality anymore.
