I just watched it again the other night when it was on TCM. Really, what an interesting movie. The colors, especially, and the way the gangs move in and out of obvious cheesy dance moves to regular bumming around with friends stuff. And, of course, the music.

If I hate musicals but like Leonard Bernstein's music (and also 1960s films), would I like this movie?
