29 April 2012

I used to think the 3rd amendment was archaic and near comical but maybe our common law friends need something like that!! London 2012: Missiles may be placed at residential flats
Fascinating.

Please tell me this is a dramatic over-reaction. In any case, what are they going to do - shoot down a bomber over the stadium? Where do they think it's going to end up in that case?

I know, are the 'terrorists' coming with missile-firing drones?? cancel the olympics and figure out how the hell they're getting a hold of 'em

If everyone carries a gun then crime will go down because criminals will not be able to get away with gun crime. Therefore in order to beat the terrorists every home ought to have a surface to air missile and a surface to ground missile and every vehicle ought to have the same. Every patriotic citizen in addition to their handgun should also be issued a shoulder launched missile.

The age of world peace ensues.

The Third Amendment always seemed dated to me, too. Innnteresting.

From what I have read, the property owner consented, so the third amendment would not apply.
