Van Sessions Newish band Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers have a fantastic video series of them performing rootsy-pop-soul cover songs in a van on acoustic and sometimes toy instruments. Start with the irresistible I Can't Go for That and take it from there - Every Day, How Sweet It Is, She's Got You, How Will I Know, Here Comes the Sun....
OMIGOSH! So good! The mister even came in to "see" what I was listening to. I really enjoyed the She's Got You cover, but I'm a sucker for Patsy Cline.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the "I can't go for that" cover, it's so well done. The only thing that gets me is that she's driving! I can actually see the roadway going by reflected in her sunglasses. Call me old-fashioned, but when behind the wheel of the car, harmonizing is not part of the equation.

I sing while driving all the time! In fact I do a lot of songwriting and also rehearsing behind the wheel. I really don't find it interferes.

Nice! I really like some of their selections. They've got some great taste (or at least, taste which aligns nicely with MY taste, heh.)
