Really cool use for Facbook. This store is just on the other side of my block. I wish I had seen this sooner.

They did one of these in Portsmouth NH a couple weeks ago. Yeah, smart idea. They also did a thing called "Plaid Friday" on Black Friday, where you were supposed to wear plaid and go shopping at local businesses instead of malls and such. The idea was that plaid is a metaphor for the many different interwoven local businesses that make a community. They ended the day with a Happy Hour meetup at some bars. Seemed like a good idea.
