That's not the part of the cat that usually ends up in my face.

I've got an 11 pound cat and an 18 pound cat. It's bad enough when they lay on my legs.

That's definitely catshopped (as distinct from photoshopped). I can tell when a cat has that "OK, I'll stay here, but it'd better be worth it" expression on its face ... :-)
On reflection, the expression seems more of a "chill out - I probably won't bother smothering him" expression.

As a footnote, I definitely catch my two dogs occasionally sharing that "together, we could take her down" look.
