Take Kate Bush's song 'Wuthering Heights,' and slow it down until it's over 30 minutes long. The result: something very whooshy, spooky, and lovely.

The video is as compelling as the song. I don't know which would be more challenging: working with her, or living with her. Few have the energy to do both.

In 1977 the J. Arthur Rank company made this video for Kate so they could use it to sell their state of the art production services. I never heard a hard number but we were told the cost for something like this would be in to six figures. Now you could do it on a laptop.

I'm going to listen to this while I read.
