I'm going to have to adopt a friend who has pet bunnies. I don't think my living near-term living arrangements will allow my owning one.

Now is good timing. And, eeeeeee! Cute bunnies!

But seriously. Makes one think of the upcoming holiday.

Easter is the worst time for bunnies. First there's the forced labor efforts of all those Peter rabbit delivery clones. It's right back to the unemployment line after one day of work. Hoe are they gonna feed all the younguns?

Then there is the baby bunny for Sissy and Johnny ... there's only so much squishing a bunny can tolerate and those ears are not handles.

And the final horror is chocolate bunny decapitation syndrome. Sad.

Every bunny needs a good home.

I have a small warren living under the back deck which is plenty for the dog to chase and generally terrorize, but I appreciate the spirit of this all the same.

I'd adopt a bunny a day, but the person won't let me. She says regular cat food is better for me.
