Mr. Beer dropped by today →[More:]
I ordered a kit during the recent Woot-off. I've always wanted to try homebrewing, but the $80+ start-up cost and requirement to do 4 gallon batches kept me away. The Mr. Beer from the woot-off cost me $20, so even if the beer ends up being not so good, I'll be ok with that.

Any tips (other than really good sanitation)?

I haven't brewed myself but have heard other talk about the vital importance of keeping all the bits and pieces VERY clean.

Good luck. Once you get started, all you'll have to do is create a snappy label and you're all set.
