At first I was going to suggest that it wasn't really a Joy Division reference, but a reference to the original pulse image from the encyclopedia that Joy Division appropriated. But I see that it says right there "Inspired by the iconic sleeve of Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures album". How freaking weird!

BoingBoing is reporting that Disney has withdrawn the item from its store. Either that or none of the WebSavvy Makers at BB could navigate the Disney site.
