Since the world drifts into delirium, we must adopt a delirious point of view. Some wonderful, wonderful drawings by French artist Moebius. I've always liked his work ever since seeing it in Heavy Metal in the 70s. Of this bunch, this one's probably my favorite.
Those are GREAT! I love them - it's like Salvador Dali meets the yellow submarine.

I've been a fan since the '70s too but it has taken me this long to notice some Peter Max influence (?) Yup, Jean Gireaud = some grand stuff. Makes me want to dig out Arzach and John DiFool and La Garage Hermetique (etc.)

I remember when I was a kid, wishing I could draw eyes as simple yet beautiful as these (and falling in love with them, although that's a bad idea, if you remember the story ending)... from The Long Tomorrow, written by Alien's Dan O'Bannon:
