What's off-kilter? I spent part of the last week of 2011 listening to GreatBigRadio.com's total immersion into 1968, and after REALLY listening to the lyrics of some of the Pop songs of that year, I think that song - and even more so, the video - would fit right in. (Although the costuming was more 1962. I even recognized some very '60s dance moves)

ethylene, I thought about posting a best-of list and asking others to do the same, but the time just kind of passed by before I could do it. Slack-Agogo posted a great year-end list on his blog, as he usually does.

Don't feel hemmed in by when everybody else does lists, if you actually want to do one. There are so many lists right now I doubt people get through any they don't regularly check. I'm taking my time to pick through things while I have the scant time at hand.
I'd love to see what stood out to you.

The Kimbra video is weird, but really intriguing. And I really like how the song builds and almost seems like 4 or 5 separate acts the way it keeps incorporating new elements. I ended up also watching the live-in-studio version, which was also quite fun. I'm pretty sure this song is going to be stuck in my head.

This hits me right in my happy place. (No not there you perv, higher up.)
