Well, just take the "a" out of Seattle and Settle (In). And enjoy the lack of oppressive Fresno heat. (I've been enjoying the unseasonably warm week here in SLO and thinking "Ard would've hated it")

Local tradition is to watch Space Needle festivities on TV. This year is its anniversary so extra dashes of sci fi movie theme music to accompany the fireworks.

How is Sookie liking her window? - Squirrel! Today she watched three different cats, a murder of crows, and two squirrels chasing each other across the fence tops. The angle of the window is such that she doesn't get any sun but that will come in late spring.

She is adjusting very well to the entire house, except she still gets skittish when the garage door opens. Not bad for her first full day here.
