Gah! Stuff has changed at flickr again and I can't be bothered to figure out how to post from them. This is why I let my subscription drop to what was a loved site.
It might be the same problem that's cropped up before in posting images here - if your using the 'Grab the HTML/BBCode' option, add a forward slash just after the last double quote in the html (...alt="example"/></a>) and things should work.

A few years ago my Mom sent me 20 or so slides to scan into the computer. Mostly pics of family and us kids when we were small. This was one of the slides: a pic of the Flowering Crab Apple tree we had in the back yard of my childhood home. It always seemed an odd choice to me and I didn't know if it was just in there randomly or what. It's pretty ordinary, but I liked that tree when I was a kid. The little apples were great for throwing at each other for little battles. I'm glad I have that image now.
It's really funny (to me) what some people consider to be ordinary/mundane. Workerant: I've never in my life seen butterflies like that! TheophileEscargot: that's a fox!!! in broad daylight!!!
