Holiday Music-A-Go-Go, Day 6: I give you THREE, count 'em, THREE works of choral delight -- two performed by yours truly![More:]My choir recorded a Christmas album in 2010, which was kind of funny because it was August and several people nearly fainted from the heat.

Unfortunately, I don't have the CD on me here at work, but this will hopefully provide a nice sampling.

Here's a (raw) live recording of us performing Bogoroditse Devo, from the Rachmaninoff Vespers. This is more or less the Ave Maria text, usually performed around Easter, but still fabulous. We totally have Russian basses.

Here's a choir that is not us performing Joseph lieber, Joseph mein, by Hieronymus Praetorius.

And, as a VERY special bonus...

Here's a choir that IS us performing Justin Bieber, Justin Mine. (Some of us specialize in semi-tipsy parodies.)

Like what you hear? Why not head over to the MeFi Mall and get a copy for yourself?
Very nice!

This is wonderful - from a bunny, by a bunny, and so gorgeous too.
