I do mot understand anything about how Sandra Lee's success. It's a shame because a show about how to tart up and personalize store-bought food could actually be clever and useful.

p.s. - right before a traditionally lavish and heavy meal, why not have a super-sweet, super-alcoholic, extra-filling cocktail? Because upchucking Thanksgiving dinner gives it that extra something. GREAT THINKING SANDRA LEE.

I believe she comes from a society where unfinished drinks and partially eaten meals are de rigueur.

From what I know about her, she's all into "tablescapes," so in that sense, it's about the imitation of food.
I've been eating more prepackaged food than I've ever eaten in my entire life and I have to say, through a sodium-induced haze:
soylent green is people
salty, crappy people

The combination of coffee, Bailey's and vodka is well suited to the holiday task of neutralizing fuzzy elder aunts like Jimmy Fallon.

Weird to think that she's the first lady of New York State and since Cuomo is pretty ambitious, maybe first lady of the country in the future.

Haha, this is funny. Don't drink buttermilk, Jimmy Fallon! Wait, what? She's married to Andrew Cuomo? No, I can stop breathing into this paper bag, the googles tell me they're just dating.

Still, I live in flyover country, and I know (1) that Andrew Cuomo is the governor of New York and (2) how to spell cuomo. So mad props for me. And/or I need to get off NPR and get a life.
