New Kate Bush Album (Winter-themed) streaming on NPR first listen. I know she has a few fans here so thought I'd share.
Hey, cool! Thanks for the tip... I'm really curious to hear this one.

Hmmm like some of her later albums it could take several listenings to get into it. I can't find the liner notes but I think its her brother singing again on a couple of the songs and I wish she would just do all the vocals herself, The songs would be better. I quite like Wild Man though

At first I thought this was Kate Nash and was very confused at how different she sounded.

I heard a brief NPR interview with her this week. As her name was announced, both The Fella and I uttered some exclamation approximating, "Oh, I love her; she's a loonybird."

Unsurprisingly, she comes off in the interview as delightful, intelligent, open, and pleasant. The song about the Yeti is pretty loonybirdish and lovely.

It is darn loonybirdish. The first few times I listened mainly to the music and overall atmospherics; on about the 4th listen I focused on the lyrics, and they do give you a chuckle. Silly in spots. The snowman-love lines especially.
