Sometimes the 21st Century Mad Men come up with advertising that's just WRONG. And even worse when it's PSAs for an institution with a long but checkered history. (talk about 'photoshopped to hell')

I love those pictures, though like most advertising, the message is bullshit. And while it's true that the BSA has a checkered history, so do most institutions involved with the raising of children (schools, churches, families, and so on).

Ugg. To be fair, I was in Boy Scouts until I was 18 (made Eagle), and my best Boy Scout friend had an impressive mustache from 13 on.
