I hate smiling and showing my teeth, always have. Even before I started drinking coffee and smoking and staining the hell out of my teeth. I just don't think it looks good or right, so I don't.

Smile in whatever way looks natural to you, and fuck 'em if they say you have to show teeth.

I am comfortable with my smile as is for every day. I just want to expand my abilities somewhat.

The only time my teeth show is if I'm really smiling as a reaction. Find something that really makes you smile deeply and see.

Also, some people just show teeth. They have big teeth or their jaw is set that way, facial movements, what have you.

I can't figure out where I was reading it (possibly this month's Vanity Fair), but the Chinese high speed rail authority is coaching its hostesses to use an Eight Teeth Smile. The article briefly mentions the hostesses practicing in the mirror while holding a chopstick between their teeth.

I have always thought that Julia Roberts is actually a shark-woman or something, with thousands of teeth backing up any of hers that might fall out, it takes her about a damn hour to smile all the way, it keeps on opening up more and more, hundreds of thousands of teeth in there, probably if she ever did smile all the way it'd meet in the back and her head would fall off. Really though, look at her mouth, it's big enough for fourteen women, I bet she can eat a car.

I think Julia Roberts is pretty except when she gives that BIG SMILE. Always makes me think she is about to slough her human disguise and launch into the eating of limbs.
