Christmas cards already? Marketing is on full onslaught! Wacky. I wonder how many cards I need. We are doing it again this year, right?
Oh yes! We'll organize right after Thanksgiving.

I manage to send out christmas cards about one year a decade. I'm pretty sure that this year won't be one of them.

I love holiday cards.

We just moved, so I grabbed my card boxes when they were in transition. I'd love to actually get mine out right after Thanksgiving, which means I really should start chipping away right now.

I decided last year that I really love cards and want to commit to keeping on doing them. They are a super simple little gift and a great way to show people you don't talk to that often that you still care about them.

It's hard to find bunny-themed Christmas cards, but I managed to find some in the January sales. So we'd better do the Christmas card exchange this year, or I'll be drawing Easter eggs on them and sending them out in the Spring.

I'm in the same camp as Octothorpe. I can't actually remember the last time we sent Xmas cards. I think I did the art and we printed them ourselves. Man...that had to be 10 or 15 years ago.

After awhile, you just come to realize that there's nothing special about Christmas. That it's just a big, obnoxious commercial orgy, and you just start removing yourself from the grind of it all.

For me there is no such thing as Christmas until after Thanksgiving. So I officially do not know what you're talking about. Yet.

Some years I send out New Year's cards or Valentines rather than holiday cards. It works out well: I would have more time to make the cards and write something thoughtful rather than just rushing through them, and it also meant the cards came well after the crush of Christmas cards and other holiday mail had died down, so sometimes people actually responded to them.
