Ever get a call from Ashford Talk Radio? →[More:]It was the weirdest phone call. Some guy saying he's from something called Ashford Talk Radio (an internet radio network), supposedly interested in having me on a show. Ummm...yeah. Right.

He started throwing a lot of senseless bullet-points at me as to why ATR was this big-deal, important thing, the biggest of which was that Ashford was about to go public on the New York Stock Exchange. Yes, he actually said NYSE, as if that alone was going to wow me. But, first, he said he needed to verify my profile.

I hung up. Then I did a quick Google. I still can't quite get what Ashford is all about, beyond it seems to be some kind of scam where people pay a membership, and then get "interviewed" on some internet radio show.

Has anyone else gotten a call from these guys?
