I was a relative late-comer to the web, browsed for the first time in '95 at school and then finally at home in '96. By that time Netscape had taken over and IE was starting.

I started off with Mosaic. Used Lynx at work for ages for the it-looks-like-you're-working value.

I used Mosaic. Cello was the new best thing, and I tried it. . .But mostly used lynx, even when in IRC.

I used Mosaic. I was also on the ISCA BBS and it seemed to me like Urbana, Illinois, was some sort of magical Oz where computer wizards roamed the earth.

The first webmail account I had was on Lycos. I'm really surprised to see their still around (I'd try my old login but I doubt I remember it).
