I think I just wrote a decent few female-friends have talks not about men scenes! They sound like humans! I think! Maybe! →[More:] This took like two months cause I had to fold in all the plots and make them, like, people who liked each other and now I feel proud, should I feel proud, I have no idea.

Definitely be proud at having accomplished something that sounds difficult, with the complicated plotting and such!

Probably be less-proud about treating your female characters like human beings. ;-)

Dammit - if I was you I'd just feel proud of writing AT ALL. I've been so slack about writing for the last couple of years. It's not good, really.

And it's definitely a better thing that the characters are interested in things other than men than just men, so I say proud is AOK.

This was never on my radar as an issue. I first heard about this a few months ago and now I want to go back through all my writing as see if I fell into this trap.
