No tears, but I'm happy for her. I don't know if that was Windy growling, but it did sound like "don't ever let that happen again" growl, and then joyous wagging.

I cried buckets. BUCKETS. Then I went into the kitchen to tell the dog she's never allowed to run away. She looked at me like, please, like I'd ever get more than 10 yards away from my bowl. And could you put some food in it, please?
