Question for fellow Fringe fans... I watched last night's episode, and have a continuity question...→[More:]

Didn't the alternate universe Broyles die last season after he crossed-over into our universe? Yet, there he was last night, still leading the alternate Fringe division.

Do we just explain it away with a "Creating the bridge changed the timelines" excuse?

They gave no indication of why he is alive. I expect it will be explained by Peter never having existed. If Peter comes back will alternate Broyles still exist?
