Also, I often want to take vacations to specific places in the past, too.

It always impresses me that people used to dress before they left the house. I'm all for comfort in my jeans and capris but, in a way, I think we've lost a bit of civilization.

sigh... I think of this as "Jean-Luc Godard's Paris", for which I pine as fruitlessly but even more longingly than "Henry Miller's Paris".
