You know, you could get more than one account. I think I am up to 5 or 6.3

I don't necessarily see a neat way to split my tweets out I guess.. I mostly follow tech people, mefites and hip hop people... I don't retweet any rap stuff even when i'm tempted because most of my followers wouldn't get and/or would be offended by whatever stuff the guy is talking about (lol).. but beyond that I retweet a lot of "look at this on the web" stuff like articles , interesting blog entries etc from the tech/media circle or the mefite circle

I do think I'll be making a more professional heavily tech based twitter though for my business side of things... I don't really like talking about technology though even if it's what I do professionally

as far as my own personal comments I keep it to a low just out of habit from facebook... I used to do just a couple status updates a week or something like that and I still don't post much to FB kinda keep it low frequency with twitter getting most of the 'look at this link' type stuff. I guess I just don't have that much interesting stuff going on to talk about anyway like I'd have some interesting comment in the afternoon, *and* late afternoon, *and* evening, and night? Not really. lol
